Diana and Tony are the new owners of Hele Billy’s Bar & Restaurant that has been open since 2005 and have kept the many changes implemented by the previous owners, to make it into the friendly, atmospheric restaurant and bar it is today.
Situated only one mile from Ilfracombe Harbour, fresh fish features heavily on our menu. Our main menu offers a very wide and varied choice of meal, from homecooked ham, egg and chips, to pan fried sea bass on egg fried rice, with soy sauce, spring onion and ginger, whereas the ever changing specials board concentrates on seasonal dishes including Lundy lobster and in the spring/summer months and Exmoor venison in the autumn/winter. We also have a number of meat/fish free dishes and our menu indicates any meals which are, or can be gluten free.
We have an extensive range of wines and beers, including local real ales, two ciders, international lagers and Chase vodkas and liqueurs which are made in England and have been voted ‘Best Vodka in the World’!
With such a variety you are sure to find something to suit all tastes.
We are keen to support local businesses and use local suppliers for all of our ingredients, as far as possible.
We serve our entire menu all day, every day from 12noon until 9pm so if it’s lunch or evening meals that you are looking for, we are sure you will find it here. We also take party bookings for all family occasions.
We have a large parasol with electric heaters and lights to provide a sheltered smoking area and doubling up as an alfresco dining area (when the Hele winds die down)!!!
